Hoe vang je jouw werk in een pakkende, bondige, informatieve en onderhoudende tekst? Kan jouw biografie of artist statement een upgrade gebruiken, bijvoorbeeld in aanloop naar een beurspresentatie? Tijdens deze workshop helpt Taco Hidde Bakker jou een zo helder mogelijk verhaal op papier te zetten.

Taco is schrijver, vertaler, docent en curator. Hij heeft bijgedragen aan talloze monografieën, catalogi en tijdschriften zoals Foam Magazine en British Journal of Photography. Hij geeft ook les aan de HKU.

Van tevoren krijg je een schrijfopdracht van Taco, die jullie tijdens de workshop samen gaan behandelen.

How do you capture your work in a catchy, concise, informative and entertaining text? Could your biography or artist statement use an upgrade, for example in the run-up to an art fair presentation? During this workshop, Taco Hidde Bakker will help you put the clearest possible story on paper.

Taco is a writer, translator, lecturer and curator. He has contributed to numerous monographs, catalogs and magazines such as Foam Magazine and British Journal of Photography. He also teaches at the HKU.

You will receive a writing assignment from Taco in advance, which you will discuss together during the workshop.
